When September comes.

I'm going to be super productive.

· productivity

September is like January for me.

I decide on all new things I'm going to do. I'm going to get in shape, keep my accounts up to date, cook nutrious meals daily (no pizza or chips in our house..... (NOT). I'm going to manage to be super productive and run a business and train community groups and volunteer in the community and be amazing at supervising homework and the house will be immaculate and I'll definitely not binge watch anything on Netflix....

Thats the plan in my head.

Instead I come to realise that keeping everything going all the time is hard work and I better go easy on doing things that might actually make my life easier. So today I'm going to talk about some of the tools that help me ATTEMPT to accomplish these things.

1.  Airtable

I use Airtable for project tracking, Expense Tracking,

It helps me to juggle multiple projects at the one time and know when I have to jump between them, where I left off last time by keeping information in the one place. It helps me to track recipes, online links, contact details. Anyone who has attended my training knows that I rave about it all the time because of how versatile it is and how useful it is for any level of tech ability.

2 ZOOM SCHEDULER.

I know zoom is no surprise to anyone but as I spent a lot of last year creating zoom links and sending them out to people. I found being able to add the zoom chrome extension into my google calendar really helped to just turn appointments into the calendar into zoom meetings without even opening zoom.

3. LOOM Video Recording App.

Depending on what sector you work in, I'm sure there are repetitive tasks that you spend time telling people how to do. I started using Loom Video last year and I love it.

I can take screen demos of how to do something online, I can track if someone watches them, I can just get a link directly from loom without having to upload a video to youtube and I can also track the analytics and no if people actually watched the videos. Here is a quick demo of me talking about another tool I use which is number 4.

4. Answer Garden

I use this for online group sessions when I want to get feedback from multiple people remotely and in real time. There are tons of apps out there that are more sophisticated and polished than this. HOWEVER I have chosen this one because of it's ease of use for someone who is not used to facilitating online sessions. (I've done a demo above)

5. Simply Book Me.

I've been looking for a while for ways to make Social Media more useful. As in if you've taken time to build up a following, how do you stay in touch with them or get them to buy from you online. I finally had time this week to work out a way of integrating an online booking platform into instagram. The Tool that I used is Simply Book Me.

I tried out lots of others and non of them are easy to navigate, install or integrate. They all do certain things well but this one had everything.

If you'd like to connect with me online you will find me in all

these places.
